Go ahead, laugh.
Done yet? No? Too bad.
So, impulsive me felted my bag before I had given any thought as to how I was going to dry it or shape it. So, now my desk chair is soaked from trying to put the bag as close to the heater as possible, my room smells like wet sheep and I'm using random plastic food containers as a mold. Yep. This is dorm life at its best.
See the wash clothes? That's where it was dripping last night. Water was in between the layers of felt and would finally accumulate at the lowest point and pretty much pour out through the handles or the bottom of the bag once it'd been hanging for a while. I'd wring it out, and twenty minutes later I'd find a huge puddle again. The water came from nowhere it seemed.
Gotta love plastics. So, there's my big ol' tea jug and a gladware container acting as a "mold". *shakes head*Oh, and I've nearly got another cunning hat finished. Going really slow at it, and taking lots of pictures for pattern writing purposes. Ooo...speaking of patterns...this weekend I took a request from my demon loving friends in the Supernatural group to make an intarsia chart of a pentacle...and so far, 25 downloads. *fist pump* boo ya.
